I called because my daughter needs a new covid vaccination card. She needs it by Thurs. but her work hours are making it tough for her to get in there. The lady I spoke with (Pam) was wonderful! She called me back an hour after I spoke with her. She said Heidi's card is ready! All she has to do is pop in, show her ID and they will give it to her! So she will just take a little break from work and get it tomorw. Thank you so much!

The Lawrence County Health Department is a great place to get immunizations as well as has put together a wonderful program to help working parents be able to have their kids get their shots at school. No leaving work, no finding a babysitter to watch smaller siblings, etc. I highly recommend seeing Mary Kinser and the nurses on staff.

During a county wide Hepatitis A epidemic I was just refused an insurance provided vaccine by the Health Department because and I quote That requires an authorization and we dont have time for that. Way to protect the community.
