Barry and Kyle did excellent, professional work and they're just great guys. We had multiple plumbing projects done, like updating all pipes, installing uv water filter, bathroom plumbing and outside spigot. They took the time to make sure we're all on the same page with what we needed. They even researched best solutions to some of our needs/ideas. Very reasonable pricing and project timing. Highly recommend!

Called yesterday because of a leaking spigot that was due for being replaced. Barry was out next day and was able to get everything cleaned up for us without any problems. Had all of the tools and parts necessary to get the job done in one trip and explained what all he did afterward. Great products, great service, and I am very happy with the overall experience. TLDR;
Wyatt & Son's Plumbing must be a part of your quoting process. Their professionalism is top-notch, their interactions and knowledge are excellent, and their pricing is incredibly competitive, way cheaper than the large companies.
THE DETAILS
I interviewed five plumbing companies, including Wyatt & Son's Plumbing. When you choose a company to work for you, it should be no different than candidates interviewing for jobs. I treat each company that comes out with respect; we discuss the various aspects of the job and how the job will be performed. Ultimately, we end up in salary (project cost) discussions.
COMMUNICATION
Wyatt and Son's was impressive, and communication was seamless.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Replace a Bradford 50g water heater (leaking from the top)
2. Replace a Kenmore water softener that was 15 years old.
3. Fix a 40' run of 2.5" kitchen sink pipe detached from the ceiling due to the strap cables, held in by nails, used by the original installers. It wasn't draining anymore and was full of gunk.
TECHNICAL INTERACTIONS
I'm an incredibly technical person and engineer. I research everything from plumbing, electrical, carpet, etc. I like to know how things are installed and how they work for the simple fact of educating myself to get the best use out of everything.
Barry and his son answered every question, and I never felt disrespected. While Barry has an opinion on specific equipment, which people should have, he walked me through the "whys" of arriving at his conclusion. Barry's approach demonstrated his openness to educating others and learning himself. I appreciated our time.
PRICE
Wyatt & Son's Plumbing price is incredibly competitive. There are a couple of things I look at:
1. How much am I paying for parts?
2. How much am I paying for labor?
Parts are a commodity. You can find every price for every item online. I'm not a fan of companies who mark up their prices. I have to pay sales tax on parts, and every dollar added is more money out of my pocket on taxes.
FINAL DECISION
The decision came down to Wyatt and Son's Plumbing and another company. Nothing is worse than telling a fantastic candidate/company they won't receive the job. I had no joy in sending the message to Barry, and still, as of writing this review, I'd have Barry out in a heartbeat to quote the next job; there will always be another.
