My mom may have lived longer if not for Rolling Hills. She was sent there from Vista, and my husband and I had to pay out of pocket for her daily rate, as she was Medicaid-pending. Although told she couldn't stay because of this, the billing office still tried to get me to pay for another week. I then set up an appointment with the admin staff, several of whom were present, in order to discuss next steps for my mom. I was told I could go to Medicid state headquarters in Springfield. Really? They acted like she was the first patient in this position. I asked all of those in attendance that if it were their moms, what would they do? It wasn't retorical - I was asking for help. They all looked blankly at each other and said nothing. Since she was not allowed to stay there, we found a place that accepted Medicaid-pending patients. Then COVID happened. The place that accepted her had extremely strict restrictions. She was not allowed to go out into the hallway. They ate in their rooms, in their beds. She had to be placed on Depends as they were short-staffed due to COVID. Because she couldnt ever leave her room, the pneumonia she contracted only got worse, and she succumbed to it. I only hope that other families/their loved ones are better-helped than we were. Those in the office that day of our meeting at Rolling Hills should be ashamed of themselves.

I work for a wonderful company NICL Laboratory, as a phlebotomist and I go to numerous locations, Rolling Hills Manor being one of them and its sad when I have to document everything I do because you have some staff that will call and make a complaint about you making false claims when you are unable to draw a patient and its not right. I thank God for a company that will not take what someone else says before hearing my side. Other than that I love the patients I see the only thing that keeps me wanting to keep coming to this place to draw labs.

Rolling Hills Manor has cared for three of my loved ones. They are kind, compassionate and highly skilled. I would recommend them for any type of nursing care. The staff is really outstanding.
