Holiday Inn Express & Suites Yorkville, an IHG Hotel

This is a very clean hotel with a wonderful staff. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. I was in town for a funeral, but I will be back to see friends and family in this area and will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here many nights and all have been great! Lisa at the front desk has been very helpful and made sure we enjoy our stay! She is an absolutely wonderful person and I definitely recommend staying at this location!

I had a disappointing experience with the Holiday Inn Express Yorkville. Despite booking the hotel and shuttle well in advance, I discovered a major oversight a few weeks before my wedding. The business manager failed to have the shuttle booked as agreed, and if I hadn't called to confirm, I doubt we would have had transportation for our wedding. Our experience with this hotel was marred by a series of frustrating incidents. When my husband reserved a room for a family member, it was wrongly flagged as fraud. Despite resolving the issue and being told to book the room again, we were charged for the same room twice. After disputing the charge and getting refunded, Holiday Inn unexpectedly reversed the charge months later. Efforts to contact the manager proved futile, with multiple ignored messages and even a letter from our attorney going unanswered. Holiday Inn customer service attributed the reversal to a non-refundable room policy, despite our following their instructions to rebook. Despite the substantial amount spent by our wedding guests at the hotel, their refusal to rectify the situation was unacceptable. In my opinions, this was a scam to get more money. My experience with Holiday Inn in Yorkville was extremely disappointing. The staff's unresponsiveness and unprofessionalism were evident when we repeatedly faced lengthy hold times, reaching up to 20 minutes, only to be eventually hung up on. For anyone planning a wedding in the Yorkville area, I strongly caution against using this hotel. In hindsight, I regret not opting for a hotel in Oswego, just a bit further north, as I believe it would have spared us the frustrations we encountered with Holiday Inn. I hope others considering this venue take my experience into account before making their decision.

I actually never made it to the room because it wasn't ready. After 30 minutes of waiting my husband and I asked if we would be accommodated for them going past our check-in and were told no , so we left and I will be disputing the charge.
