      image The store has friendly staff, but the inventory is limited when it comes to sailing gear. The corporate side seems to think they dont need to cater to the sailing community. A very small section is dedicated to sailboats and hasnt change in 20 years. The other thing I find is that West Marine corporate thinks they are a name brand. Sorry guys, you are not a brand name, so you shouldnt be charging more for your label than the brand name next to your products. As a consumer it is an insult to think that we dont know the difference. West Marine does not produce any of its labeled products , they are purchase from the actual manufacture, brand name companies. Wake up corporate! Smell the coffee, get off your high horse and know your customers.
