Memorable

The cost of transferring photos, cassette tapes and VHS tapes is very high. Annual fee to keep everything on Memorable sight also high and makes more sense to just put everything on your own icloud account. Dan the Video Man does the same thing for a lot less.

I am writing on behalf of a friend (S.K.) who is in mourning and has been unable to reach this company to retrieve the Timeline digitized family photos and films that she brought to them in 2013. My friend said that she last checked their site in December (this is February), when her parent went into hospice, and the photos were there. She has been calling and emailing for the past 15 days and has had no response. The funeral is on 2/24 and family visitation is on 2/25. This is nothing short of cruel to subject someone to having NO FAMILY PHOTOS after they spent close to two thousand dollars with the company. There are two messages here: 1) BUYER BEWARE! and 2) Memorable, will you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be responsive, compassionate and call S.K. You know who she is.

We searched online for a resource that could convert some old 8mm tapes and tape recordings to a digital format in late 2020. That search let us to Memorable. The conversion to the digital format was completed very timely, efficiently, professionally, and exceeded our expectations as to how to access the information. After having collected various photos, slides, discs, negatives, tapes, videos and two iPhone iCloud accounts and photos on computers; as well as meaningful family documents collected over many years, and with no particular filing process in places as to dates, places, family context or any other way of sorting them short of a very time-consuming manual process. We again contacted Memorable, and they picked up all of our items. The volume in the various formats includes nearly 50,000 memories and nearly 1,700 videos that are now accessible by decade, year, month, individual, friends or family; and we have the ability to organize them on our own with the user-friendly software. This process was performed very quickly and efficiently and the response to any questions was very timely. The software gives us the ability to access pictures of specific individuals with one click - which in one case includes 5,746 photos. The access provides for presentation by decade, month, and year. This type of access is made possible by the digitization process developed by Memorable and eliminates having the older photos lumped together with current photos. Another feature that we appreciate in working with Memorable is that they are continually looking for ways to improve the ways in which clients are able to access and enjoy reviewing precious memories. Our overall experience working with Memorable and using the application has been extremely rewarding. We were able to quickly go from a scenario of having literally thousands of unorganized photos and memories to having the ability to review and enjoy those memories in a highly organized and beautiful way.

Eugene was great. Easy to work with and patiently answered my questions. Most importantly, the final product (he digitized 110 movie reels from my father) was fantastic, and I especially liked the "remastered" option where Eugene used special software to remove dust and grime from the images, as well as to enhance their color. I highly recommend Memorable for your digitizing needs.

A great way to have all your home videos converted to an easy to use app that you couldn't watch before! They can also make you DVD's. You can trust them with your most valuable memories, very quickly too. So glad I finally did this!
