        We got switched to this new agent and he immediately doubled our insurance rates. We tried for weeks to get a better rate. The main issue is that Dave said we were deceased according to his records and the reason why he was having problems getting us a better rate. This didn't make any sense at all and he couldn't resolve it in time for our next payment and kept giving us the runaround for over a month. When payment was about due, he said he was able to get us a better rate, but when we got the bill, it was way higher than what he quoted. We had to pay it the same day to keep our insurance. Bait and switched. In addition, when I went in to pay, I was not greeted kindly by the receptionist and I felt like I was intruding upon the place. Dave had to run out from his office to greet me and the receptionist realized I was a paying customer and not some random person walking in even though I kindly said hello and I was there to drop off a check. After I payed, he stopped communication with us and the issue of us being deceased never got resolved. Moving to a new insurance company because of this and for half the price with more coverage.

      Hello Matt, Although you weren't a direct client of our agency, I am sorry you had a bad experience. Additionally we never had an opportunity to speak or communicate with you directly other than a brief meeting when you dropped off your Mom's check. If we had, I could have cleared up some confusion you have on the circumstances. Your Mom's policies were transferred to our agency in January, and I first spoke with your Mom in March when she asked if we could help to lower her rates. It is just not true that I immediately doubled your Mom's rates - I didn't raise any rates & don't personally have that ability. Her home policy renewed in July - so no rate change happened at all while we had that policy, in fact I worked with your Mom and we lowered it by over 25%. We worked on the autos next, and ran into some IT problems with a credit reporting agency that our Agency didn't control. We would be more than happy to discuss further and clear up any other mis-understandings - you can contact me directly at any time.
