        Love the experience there. Great selection and lovely decor..and the owner is dope too.!! Nice yams!! ..the staff is awesome

        I am new to the area. I stumbled upon this place during my few hours off duty on Mothers Day. I was interested in a glass of wine. The door was unlocked, there were great reviews, I thought I hit the jackpot. I was asked what I would like. I responded a glass of wine. I was then told that the Bottle Shop was having a private tasting. If the store was not open to the public, why ask me what I wanted? I left because it was not my intention to interrupt their private tasting, but there no sign or other communication indicating that I should move along. This was an extremely baffling experience at a place that is so highly regarded. Im left wondering if this is the weird gatekeeping/racism I should come to expect on the North Shore. Zero stars if I had the option.
