Babam - Back Alley Boba & Market

not the best experience but ill definitely be back to try again! service was slow, but we were told someone didnt show up for work that day. the inside had a very strange scent that was hard to stomach tbh. I got a large tea with boba and it was $7, so a littleee pricey. I wont give up, though. Maybe just an off day for them? edit: came back again and honestlyjust not the greatest place. Still smelled bad inside. I got a different tea this time and the tapioca was flavorless and stale. The workers are very nice and I hate to leave a bad review, but honestly Ill probably be going someone else for good boba in the future :/

Even though Ive been here two times, this place is nice. The customer service is amazing and they treat there customers with respect.

The owner is very knowledgeable about different teas and their respective ingredients. Also, it's a great spot to hang out. If you ever in the area, definitely a place to visit.

Found Babam this evening just walking around downtown Wheaton. It was such a wonderful discovery! The owner spoke with us for quite a while, and since it was our first visit she made a suggestion. Though most people order cold bubble teas, we were looking for something hot. We went with the pumpkin pie chai, and it was crazy good! They also have Japanese-inspired baked goods. Highly recommend, really fun place.
