Unfortunately, I cannot recommend avoiding this business enough. Honesty and integrity seem to be severely lacking.
My wife originally had scheduled an appointment here back in June for a tasting for 50$, however we ended up deciding to go with another cake company.
According to the policy stated for refunds on appointments, if you cancel in advance you can get a refund on the deposit. Given, we were going another direction, we cancelled and did so weeks in advance.
She confirmed the cancellation, and we waited a few days for the refund. When it didn't come, my wife sent a follow-up email asking when we would get that refund. No response was ever sent. So a few days later, we filed a dispute with our bank on the charge.
Months go by, no response from Victoria, eventually we find she has fought our dispute, which was a surprise to us. The bank initially sided with her, at which time I wrote a bad review as I believed that was bad form for a business. It only got worse from there.
She reached out on email to my wife complaining about the review saying we could have reached out to her for the refund, which we did and we sent her proof that she did. After some back and forth, she had agreed to return the funds to me, if I were to withdraw the dispute. She said she was charged an additional fee by the bank because of the dispute. So I called my bank and they said in order to withdraw it, I needed to open it and then close it again. That was a mistake.
I opened the dispute, to subsequently re-close it, she sent a fairly aggressive email, which I responded to showing proof it was withdrawn. She calmed down and said "let's wait and see when the money gets back". I even removed my original review as a gesture of good faith.
I followed up for the next 4 months regularly, each time she said stripe needed more information or that they hadn't returned it yet. About a month ago, I called my bank and they verified the funds had been returned, though she claimed it still hadn't. At this point, every time I reached out, she took longer and longer to respond. Till finally as of a few days ago, I've received no response.
After no response for a week, I called my bank, because if she were charged the fee still, and I still didn't have the refund, there was no harm in re-opening the dispute. When I asked them to re-open it, they told me they can't after you withdraw it. They said some merchants are sneaky and will ask you to withdraw the dispute in order to take all the money.
So at this point I have to assume she lied in order to collect a few extra dollars. If this is how she handles things regarding a couple dollars, then I can't imagine entrusting her with a larger sum. Run from this business

Victoria did a phenomenal job! My wedding cake was perfect! All of my guests talked about how tasty the cake was. Overall I couldnt have been happier with the service.

My wedding cake was everything I imagined and tasted incredible. The process of the tasting was super fun and the online planning portal made it super easy request certain details. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion!
