My elderly parents live on the street this church is on. The members of this church regularly come "racing" down the street with no consideration for the people who live here. My father and one of our neighbors went to the church and politely brought this matter up, and even attended a townhall meeting to bring this matter to their attention, yet there has been no change. Just this evening I was taking my parents dog on a walk and one of their members came racing down the road as we were heading home, in the dark. There are no sidewalks at the end of the street so I had no choice but to gesture at the driver and stare in disbelief as they passed within feet of us easily doing 40mph and no effort to slow down. It's also worth mentioning several people in our neighborhood have young kids who like to play in the street, and many people come down here to walk in the marsh. Perhaps when someone gets ran over, or even killed, this matter will finally get addressed and they will show some consideration to residents in this area.
