    I gave this company 1 star because that's the lowest I could give. My husband and I hired this company to represent us to handle our insurance claims with our insurance company for our home. Camille was our claims adjuster she was very pleasant. Well, once Camille filed the paperwork to our insurance company, things started moving slow. I would call her and ask questions concerning our claims and have she heard anything from the insurance company, she would reply....no not yet. This company have a Claims adjuster side and a contractor side. I called Camille and asked her how much are the contractor's charging us to repair our home...Her response was whatever the amount of the insurance check (the whole check). I have never heard of anything like this before. So, what you're saying is your company is taking the whole check? I told her I wanted to shop around and get other estimates she got upset and said if I wanted to shop around for estimates then there is no need to go forward with the claim. I received a call back from Camille within 15 minutes saying they can no longer represent us because the insurance denied the claim (false) she also stated the reason why the claim was denied stating something was wrong with our roof and the insurance company won't pay for it which was again (false). JBA dropped us because 1. We wanted to shop around for other estimates, 2. We simply wasn't going for her company taking the whole check, especially when she couldn't give us an estimate. We do have a happy ending. Our house is being repaired by a good contractor's and the Insurance company is definitely on our side without JBA assistance. To sum it all up, we had a bad experience with this company, and if you decide to use this company make sure you ask them before the check is issued, how much are your contractors charging. I'm glad I asked before the check was released because we saved ourselves from a lot of unnecessary headaches with this company.

Mrs. Weaver, you filed a claim with your insurance without our assistance on 7/5/2023, due to the ceiling of your living room collapsing. The insurance came out and completed an estimate for the damages on 7/10/2023.On Saturday 7/15/2023 you hired us to represent you on this claim as your public adjuster. We contacted your insurance company on Monday 7/17/2023. Where they notified us that they only inspected the interior of the property and provided us with a copy of the initial estimate. We went out to do our inspection on 7/20/2023, and we did a full inspection, outside and inside. On our inspection we noticed that the home did not have any storm damages to the exterior of the home. Therefore there was no argument for us to get the roof approved to be replaced. On 7/24/2023 a vendor provided by the insurance cleaned up the debris. Once you let us know that you were not willing to pay your deductible and did not agree for our contractor to do the repairs according with the prices that were provided by the insurance, then there really was not much we could do for you moving forward. Then we withdrew from the claim on 8/2/2023. While we did use resources in your claim, nothing was charged to you. When you hired us, this means that we would handle the claim on your behalf, and if the insurance is not properly paying for the damages, then is our job to properly document and let the insurance know what was missing on their estimate. So this way the only thing that you are responsible for in a loss is your deductible. We use the same software the insurance companies use to make estimates, so we will never argue prices with insurance companies. When you say you want to shop around, you are implying that you want to profit from the insurance claim and not pay your deductible in full. This is considered insurance fraud, and not something we are willing to be part of. So when you ask us for an estimate, our estimate is the same one we agree with the insurance, we do not give different estimates to homeowners on items approved by the insurance. The damage on the ceiling is caused by poor roof ventilation and moisture built up and not having drip edge and not having a ventilated soffit. Since there is no drip edge, water and moisture gets inside the attic and over time causes this type of damage. After repairing the interior I would highly recommend adding some drip edge and add some ventilated soffit to prevent this damage of happening again.
