DO NOT go here for your Home buying purchase. My fianc and I came to this bank and met with a loan officer Mario Cantella. The loan fell through after 4 months of miscommunication, extreme disorganization, and dealing with a group of uneducated bankers and loan officers. The day that we were suppose to close Mario said that we needed $7,500 to close and that was the only option. After saying I could not afford that and that was not the agreement we had made, Mario laughed in my face and my fianc a face. He raised his voice, talked over us, and belittled us. I really have a hard time trying to find out how to begin this horror story. Mario Cantella mixed up FHA Loan protocols with conventional Loan protocols from the very first day. Gave us false information on multiple occasions and then later tried to blame us for his mistakes. He never replied to phone calls, texts messages, or emails. Mario Cantella was the most unprofessional and unreliable loan officers I have ever came across or met. I am not sure how anyone can make a honest living with the work ethic Mario has. The only substantial work Mario could provide was constantly remenesing about his golden years of when he use to be able to close 20 homes a month. How it was so easy to close loans and how he use to approve everyone........"professional conversation to put your new clients at ease". Mario and his assistant Suzanne need to reconsider going back to school to learn the new protocols and regulations. ----When looking for a loan officer or team to stand behind you during your home purchase, some traits you expect a loan officer should acquire is to be confident, educated, and attentive. What we received from Mario Cantella and his team at Inland Bank was ignorant, unreliable, and uneducated answers and information. We never ONCE received updates through phone calls or text or even email. Phone records and emails can be provided for verification on the extreme lack of work ethic and concern for his clients. On the day we were suppose to close on the house, Mario called me and said I need to pay for an extension and that closing will be pushed back two weeks. (Still do not know why we needed an extension and if so why do I find out the day we are suppose to close?) After the two weeks were up Mario called me and my fianc and said there was nothing he can do and we lost he house. He has. I more moves to make and try getting us the house. After questioning Mario on what to do next he began to laugh and chuckle over the phone. The next day I told Mario I know longer want to do business with him or Inland bank. I had advised him my new loan officer will be emailed him to receive the transfer number for the loan. Mario did not email my new loan officer back for 2 days and ignored me and my fianc. I had to call Inland Bank and discuss the situation with a superior to Mario Cantella. My new loan officer later received the documents a few hours later. Horrible experience!!! BYYYEEEEEE
