    I don't understand how you can mess up this bad my internet goes out everyday I have to re-plugging my router just for it work for 10mins and go out I will never ever recommend astound to anymore they should change it to astoundingly bad

    Internet out for ten hours at this point, astound refuses to answer calls about service until service is restored. Whats the point of having customer service if they refuse to answer customers when there is a problem with your service? Also raised my bill $10 last month for no reason and billing department also isnt taking calls until service is restored.

    Have had a problem with poor internet connection for a week. Started calling last Thursday (its now Wednesday of the following week, March 20, 2024). I keep on getting people in the tech support area who tell me, its my modem. And then try to get me to agree to rent one from them as though this will be the magic wand solution. Called Last Thursday, last Friday, and last Saturday asking for someone to look into the problem, insisting there must have been an outage in the area. The person on the phone with me insisted this simply could not be the case. Then, suddenly, while we were talking, she told me, oh, you have an outage in your area. Scheduled someone to come out the following Tuesday. The tech came, but never spoke to me. Just reported no one here at the office and the service call was cancelled. Was told the same thing about the service outage yesterday and had the personnel respond telling me there was no outage. Then, suddenly, oh, there is a service outage in your location. Service dropped completely in the afternoon while in a call with a client. Then on the phone for a couple of hours trying to get someone to address the problem. The tech that came yesterday said he was unable to find me. The registered address for my service is in Suite 104H. This is where I was when i initially started with this company. Ive since moved to Suite 104B. (See picture). I can understand the confusion. These two doors are almost 2 feet apart and the fact that my name appears on the sign of my office may require someone to read. Apparently these are far too much to expect of someone who claims to be a technician. Why do I have to make repeated calls to get someones attention. And now, Im at my office waiting for another technician to come. Had to be here by 8:00am today. I feel like Ive been forced to take on a position as a contracted employee with this company in order to get the service I actually pay for each month. Ive made it clear. If they are not able to restore the service by 10:00am this morning, they are fired. I will go with their competitor. It doesnt matter how good you claim your service to be if you dont have the ability to provide it.

Hello, R G. Thank you for reaching out to Astound Broadband. Yesterday there was some work being done on a watermain, and during that work one of our lines was accidentally severed. Repairing severed fiber is an extremely delicate and time consuming processes, but our techs worked tirelessly from the time we had access to the damaged cable until the outage was fully resolved.
