The woods women’s group

Very welcoming staff, the front desk is very nice all the way to the OBs. Literally makes having a baby so much less scary knowing we are in such great hands.

Worst in gurnee area. I was fooled by them in the name of annual checkup after my post partum visit in May 18 .. funny thing is that they counted that visit as annual checkup without even taking blood test for vitals checkup and only did breast exam and paps by one of the nurses. I called them today and requested to get blood work and the lady on the call highly unprofessional while taking and she cut the call shame of you guys for such behavior. Never ever recommend to anyone in Waukegan gurnee area .

A close friend of mine recommended I come here, but now I have changed my mind. They have a white lady with white/platinum hair that takes the payments that has such a nasty attitude. She left me a voicemail yesterday that I did not see, when I called back she gave me an attitude and said she left me a detailed voicemail (The attitude over the phone was a red flag). I show up to my appointment today and was told to step into her office/room to make my copayment. I walk in and say "Hello", and she ignored me. I thought she was on the phone but I stood there waiting for her to acknowledge me. Once she did feel like acknowledging me, she told me I had to pay the full amount up front BUT my insurance told me, the day before, they would cover 80% and I would pay 20%. The white lady with the white/platinum hair said no thats not true and that I have to pay up front to meet my deductible. I ended up walking out because had this lady been friendly and not gave me an attitude I would of not walked out. Her disgusting attitude rubbed me the wrong way and left a bad taste of the office overall. Oh and I called my insurance and they said that because they are in network they would have covered 80%/20% :)))))) So now I will continue to look for an OB that has pleasant staff! I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I am only giving them a 1 star because the nurse and phlebotomist I spoke to during my first visit were nice.

I can not express enough how amazing of an OBGYN Dr Woods is. Firstly, the entire staff at the woods womens group is amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and trusting of their care. Im so glad my coworker referred me to them. When it came down to my labor and delivery, Dr Woods saw me through from start to finish. She was always manifesting positive energy throughout my pregnancy which meant the world to this anxious mama. She was always so honest, straight to the point, all in a way you just knew she cared about you and baby and wanted the absolute best and safest thing for your health. Dr Woods took such great care of me, I didnt feel like just a patient to her - I felt a great deal of compassion and comfort from her. I am emotional thinking about how amazing of a doctor she is! 10000% recommend receiving your OBGYN care at the woods women group especially from dr. Woods herself!!
