The room was immaculate, not a speck of dust to be found! My sister had another room, and she had the same comments about the cleanliness. We loved having a ceiling fan and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There were plenty of charging jacks and accessible electric plugs on the lamps. Good carpentry and fixtures were used when this sweet place was refurbished. Reservations, communication with the owner, check-in, and check-out were all seamless. Our only issue was that our 4-wheel drive truck was a little big for the parking spot. I felt like we were taking more than our allowed space, but no one complained. This little issue wouldn't prevent me from booking there again.

It has a very "small town" feel - much like the rest of Waterloo. It is a perfect "roadside motel" experience. We will visit again. Walkability: Everything is within walking distance. Noteworthy details: Parking might be an issue. Check before your visit.

Wow, where do I begin. Neil, the owner is a hothead and wants to steal your money. We booked his place via Airbnb with a check in time of 10 pm on a Saturday night. At 5 pm we received a text message that their office will be closed and they would leave the door unlocked and the key on the bed. Wait what????? Huge security issue with this unprofessional way of check in if you ask me. We were also randomly texted that we were not allowed to park in the parking space provided for this particular unit because it was a fire lane and he would tow us. His grandmother lives on-site and apparently she is a noisy tell all but we arent sure because we never actually made it to the property. After this whole mess he said he didnt want us to stay at his property and that he was canceling our reservation. I agreed and didnt want to stay there any longer anyway due to poor management and professionalism on his behalf. He then stated that I needed to cancel my reservation online but I am an Airbnb host also and know that if I cancel he gets paid and Im out my money. Well long story short he was trying to scam me out of money and I had to get Airbnb support involved and they sided with me very quickly from the proof that I had in text messages. Clearly this guy is a slum lord and I would never trust and or stay at anything he owns ever!

Loved this tucked away motel. Check in was easy. Room is very small but very clean. We especially liked the fact there was no dirty carpet on the floors. The beds were super comfortable.
