Beware of Promise Healthcare.
They lose things.
They lost my health insurance card in the 5 minutes it took to make a scanned copy and then told me they've given it back to me, they were adamant they no longer had it and it never left from back behind their desk.
They don't answer the phone.
They will often prioritize physical customers who have gotten in line after you if you're in line on the phone. They'll routinely make you wait over 10 minutes on hold before transferring you to Francis Nelson, who can often not answer your question. If you think leaving a message is a nice alternative than good luck to you. They had not processed my message after a 20 minute hold the following morning when I came in person finally.
Scheduling can be hard.
I scheduled to my first doctor appointment over the phone.
I was in person and on location there for a therapy appointment and stopped to confirm my doctor appointment.
They had no record and were very clear that nobody would have scheduled one on the phone without my entry paperwork.
They rescheduled for me for what we will call my second appointment.
A few days later I called on the phone to confirm and they had no record of the new appointment but had records for the first appointment and had me marked as having missed it.
I start thinking I'm calling two different locations but they confirm they're both Promise Healthcare on North Walnut and it took a supervisor to finally figure out what they were doing with my name in their system and still have yet to receive a reasonable explanation for what they did
Their doctors are unprofessional.
Expect Dr. Yang to be smug and condescending and even open your door and discuss your medical history with you in the open hallway.
Expect his colleague Dr. Yu to sometimes sit in on your appointments so they can appreciate the humor of your condition together. It certainly wasn't for a professional opinion on my case. All Yu provided was personal opinions about Yang. These oafish clods don't deserve their honorifics as doctors.
Expect your diagnosis to take five-minute where they use a shopping list diagnostic that they could have had their secretaries do and if you have any problem with it will tell you your anger in a clinical setting reinforces their diagnosis despite most of their peers telling them behavior in a normal stress event like a clinic are chiefly not examples of behavior to make a diagnosis on.
The only thing these quacks should make a diagnosis on is your entire patient history and good luck getting them to give you enough time for them to even document it.
If you use these 'Doctors' use them at your own risk and double check your medical history because there is a real risk of misdiagnosis at this clinic and a real risk that they probably won't have any dates or times or length of duration for any ofthe symptoms you've reported; a major red flag.
As a 30 year old adult and directly following their prescription I had a nocturnal emission and all Yang cared about was whether or not I was married as being singled made nocturnal emissions normal. A complete professional quack. Grounds for a lawsuit. The tiny toad of a man is lucky I am above suing someone who works in community healthcare.
During my final appointment when I got both of these grown men out of their seats with raised voices by simply asking for a differential diagnosis, all while I remain seated without a raised voice, and they refused me future service without any professional recommendation of what to do with my ongoing mood stabilizer prescription from them at increased and elevated dosages.
Guess cold turkey?
Watch yourself going here.
