The Pointe At U of I

I love the staff and place. If you have any problems they are always quick to correct it. The staff always brings a smile to my face and are very friendly. There is free printing (just bring paper), and amazing study rooms. The gym is also nice. The shuttle is one of the best parts. It runs every 30 min and have excellent stops so I always get home from classes quickly. The events the staff hold like hot coco bar and pumpkin painting is amazing. I can tell the staff truly cares about everyone! On top of this our unit is spacious and the walk in closets are amazing. The bathroom could use more storage but an over the toilet organizer fixes that problem. Paying rent is made easy with the portal where you also pay utilities which makes it nice! Not to mention how affordable the apartment is! The Pointe is a hidden gem with low cost but high value.

Absolutely love living at the Pointe! The staff are phenomenal, friendly, and trustworthy! They are on site daily to talk to. They are extremely attentive and respond to any problems reported in a timely manner typically fixing things the same day, same hour! There are great amenities provided including study rooms, a gym, game room, and fun events put on at the clubhouse throughout the month. They are pet friendly, spacious, fully furnished, and offered at a great price thats hard to find anywhere else! A shuttle service is provided to get to and from campus! The shuttle is always on time and the driver is great! Occasionally the shuttle is out of service due to mechanical issues, but problems are always solved within the day or within the week. Paying rent is quick and easy done through a portal, same with electricity and gas. The staff provide frequent reminders about due dates. Overall, if youre looking for an affordable apartment not too far from campus, The Pointe should be your top pick!

I lived here from June 2022 to May 2023, When I was a graduate student in UIUC. When something needs to be fixed, they would fix it as soon as I requested. The employees of the apartment are friendly. During the days I lived here and even on the day I moved out, they helped me a lot.

The good part is: great staff and frontdesk. Bad parts: Cost is increasing but yet service/maintenance is getting shoddier. - Rents increased this year - The shuttle service that used to work till 8 PM now stops at 3 PM which is bad when returning from UIUC. My classes go on till 7 PM. - The gym equipment doesn't work for several months now and is not being repaired or maintained. - The AC in gym does not heat or cool. Last winter it got excessively cold because of broken heating and this summer its getting excessively hot to the point where myself or my colleagues cannot use it at all. Request: Please reduce the rent to compensate or maintain the property properly.
