Campus Oaks Apartments

Campus Oaks is a great place to live. While it is slightly off campus, it is only a ten minute walk from the Illini Union and a minute's walk away from three bus stops. Not only is the location decent, but the place itself is extremely affordable for a good price. The apartment I live in was pretty recently renovated, so the kitchen, furniture and carpeting was brand new and in good condition. The only problem I have had the past year and a half was having older faucets in my bathroom. BUT my landlord has been extremely responsive to any needs and concerns and immediately replaced the faucets. This is my second year renting an apartment at Campus Oaks. It is affordable, homey, has a decent location, and the landlords are extremely responsive. HIGHLY recommend!

The apartment itself is nice and homey. The rooms are small, but it's affordable and has all necessary amenities. I like how it has a washer and dryer in-unit. :) Also it's a good location that is close to campus. the only small complaint would be the bugs that hover outside our apartment door (but not a big deal). the maintenance and staff are always on top of work requests and are respectful of the living space.

I have been living at Campus Oaks for around 2 years now, and theres nowhere else I would want to live on campus! At a VERY affordable price, each apartment unit has the essential amenities (washing machine, dryer/washer, balcony, etc.) you need for convenient and comfortable living. The best part about my stay has been my relationship with the various landlords and facilities & services staff. Theyve done an amazing job at addressing any needs weve had in the past, and my roommates and I have never had any issues that have been ignored. The only potential drawback I can think of is that the apartment complex isnt located directly on campus (this wont be a problem if you have a car). If youre someone who hates buses and doesnt have a car, youll have to walk a little further to get to the quad (4/5 blocks). My friends and I dont have a problem taking the bus and have never had an issue getting around campus since MTD busses run frequently right in front of our apartment. TL;DR - Campus Oaks is the best apartment complex in the world to live at if youre looking to live close to campus at a very good price. This might not be the spot for you if you want to live in luxury, but is a great apartment for those looking for a cheap, homey place.

Campus Oaks is an awesome place to live! Super affordable and close enough to campus, with bus stops nearby (5 Green, 13 Silver, etc). It's very simple and clean and the landlord and main maintenance worker are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend living here!

Campus Oaks is a great place to live at for an affordable price! The apartment is in good condition. The landlord is helpful and very easy to communicate with. It's close to campus yet is in a very homey neighborhood. Bus stops are nearby. The tents are very friendly. Overall, I've had a very positive experience living at campus oaks!
