I believe every person could benefit from some kind of therapy. Life can be brutal, and sometimes you just need somebody to vent to. Melissa is incredible. Ive felt the openness to talk about harder issues, and had days where I felt like I was confiding in a friend. I think what really sets her apart is her care for her patients. Therapy can be awkward, but shes somebody who immediately makes you feel at ease and like what you have to say is important. Thats absolutely vital in mental health. I wont be seeing anybody else in the future, as Ive definitely found the person I want as my therapist through this life. I could not recommend somebody higher. As a first responder, I didnt think she could understand a lot of things job related. But, she just gets it.

My experience with Melissa had been life changing. I walked into her office scared to see my own shadow. She helped me get my life back together and finally reach my dream destination, Oregon. Ill never be able to thank her enough for all she did for for me. She is the warmest, most compassionate, and down to earth person you will ever meet. I cant recommend her enough!!! I owe my happiness to her, and will be forever grateful.

Melissa has been a vital part in my life for 5+ years. She has given so much of her time and life to assist first responders and their families. The amount of effort and dedication she has given in building a support system for men and women in the fire and police service is unmatched. When looking for someone who will listen and provide an unbiased evaluation without judgement, this is the person to go to. She has helped bolster my marriage and has never given me the feeling of a biased point of view. I will forever recommend this practice when looking for a mental health advocate.
