Chapman Stone

Chapman Stone Springfield, Illinois I called Chapman Stone to deliver 9 tons of rock for my sons driveway, but the could only deliver 5 tons at a time. Before I even ordered it, I asked Bill ( owner) if they could spread it out evenly down the driveway with their dump truck, because my husband is disabled and he would not be able to move it around. Bills response was, NO PROBLEM . So ,I went ahead and ordered the gravel. See picture below. This happened on February 15th. I spoke with Bill, the owner of Chapman after the incident and he even came to the house the next day and was apologetic of what happened and promised us that he would send several young strong men to spread it out the next week. This never happened. We have made about 1 call per week to Chapmans Stone and everytime they have told us that they will fix it and even sets up times and dates. Each and every time they have not showed up. As of today, they pretty much told us to get screwed. I gave them ample amount of times to correct their error and even told them on many occasions I understand mistakes are made, but this is how they decided to handled it. Ridiculous.!!!!

Great place, super nice people but the dump truck before us got the last of their dirt and sold them out. Note to self, go early hehe. Would definitely recommend them for your projects.

Got 5 scoops of mulch delivered on time and on the tarp! All staff were professional and courteous, including the gentleman answering the phones! Thank you! We'll see you again next year!
