haunted, abe lincoln was in our room last night. the pictures are creepy and theres a haunted mirror in the locker room.

Stayed here after the girls on the run 20th anniversary. Bed was comfortable, very quiet, and the cookie at check in was soooo goood. Will have to try and stay here again soon.

Wonderful experience. Very close to Lincoln's home and convenient to restaurants. My room, on the 9th floor, had a view of Lincolns neighborhood. Everything except the elevator worked perfectly. If I'm ever in Springfield again this is the place I'll always select to stay! The staff is very nice and accommodating. Thank you for making my visit to Springfield a pleasant one. Rooms: Clean Nearby activities: 2 blocks from the National Park Service's Abraham Lincoln Historical District. Close to the State House and walking distance from the train station. Walkability: If you're here for Lincoln history then this is the place to stay! 2 blocks from the Lincoln home and historic district. I'm a Lincoln historian and I don't think it gets better than this for walkability. I could see Lincoln's house from my window! Food & drinks: The food was very good. Don't expect a nice "fine" dining experience because the menu is mostly appetizers and bar food with 4 or 5 big screen TV's showing sports. But the food is good and it isn't loud.

Beautiful hotel. Only stayed one night. Will stay here again. The only thing I do not like is they don't have a mini fridge. It would be nice to reheat leftovers, and primarily, if I were staying longer, that would be the only reason I'd stay at a different hotel. Parking is a city thing, but I am grateful it's only $7 for overnight parking as opposed to $30. Overall, still 5 star worthy!
