Pal Kokity, Licensed Massage Therapist

I appreciate that Pal is so highly trained in different modalities. When coming to the Chicago area to visit family, its helpful for me to schedule an appointment with him, whether just one visit or I have time for several.

I have a son, almost 13, who is a person with Autism. Hes very high functioning and very smart, great in school, etc., but really struggles with social interactions and executive functioning. Ive tried a million different therapies and classes, etc. Many were great. Lots of wonderful people. Most recently, weve been doing Craniosacral therapy with Pal Kokity in Skokie. Holy COW!!! It has REALLY shown great results! My son is typically very slow to answer direct questions and is often in dreamland. After these sessions he is extremely present, answers quickly and his executive functioning skills are much more on point. My husband thinks its all hocus-pocus but I am hooked! I believe this is a game changer for my son. It had shown really great results for my son.. I know not everything is good fit every person, but it has really worked for us. I tried it myself (just to make sure before I let my son get it) and it was great. Its non invasive. We go once a week. Saw results after the second session. Each session was 45-60 mins. I sat in the room, door open, they lie on the table, the work is only on the head and neck, so no clothing changes or anything, and its gentle work, doesnt hurt. I highly recommend Pal!!!

Pal is one of the best massage therapists I've seen. He has a deep knowledge of muscles, tendons and faschia - and knows how to correct imbalances that can cause chronic pain or poor posture. I have been to see him to address several issues and have always felt better after a session. At each session, he will do an assessment to see what issues there are, and then develop a plan to address the issues. He is extremely analytical as well as intuitive.

I first met Paul during a yoga workshop. He was there to make adjustments while we were in a pose. I raised my hand, told him where the discomfort was and with the slightest adjustment, it no longer hurt. That was about five years ago and I've seen him regularly ever since. I have scoliosis and Paul has done an amazing job working his magic to release whatever needs to be released to ease the tension in my back. He is caring and thorough and thoughtful and kind. I recommend him every chance I get. He does traditional massage, but I see him for the more therapeutic miofacial release and cranial sacral. I don't know anyone who does this as well as he does.

I sought out Pal after learning that I had developed a curve in my spine from years of sitting at work. Pal;s work straightened out my spine which alleviated my back discomfort. He is lovely to work with, very skilled and very professional. He has always impressed me with his detailed knowledge of anatomy and his commitment to be helpful.
