This is a nice short trail with a small playground & fitness playground for adults. Pleasure riding along the Skokie Valley Trail.

Great trail for the family. Trailhead is at Dempster. Public parking is nearby. This trail travels through Skokie, Lincolnwood, and into Chicago where it joins the North Branch Trail in LaBagh Woods. Many places to stop along the trail. At Main St youll find a brewery. At Oakton towards the West, youll be in downtown Skokie where youll find a great bakery and restaurants. At Oakton to the East youll find the Skokie water park, a large outdoor play area and The Exploratorium. Just past Oakton is the amazing Emily Oaks Nature Center. Its fun to cross the new bridge was built to carry path-goers over Touhy Ave. A few sculptures are placed along the way and access to Tecumseh Park and Oakton Community Colleges Skokie campus.

Clean well maintained and quiet. If you want shade or more taste of nature enter in Park Ridge or start at preserve on Foster and walk north, look for walk trail across from picnic areas not the bike trail
