Teddy Rose Hair Salon and Day Spa

Very overpriced salon, $85 for a root touch up with no blow dry included, $85 for partial highlights and $50 for a blow dry. These prices are way too high for this area in Skokie, I was shocked when I heard the total. No price list posted anywhere. Roza the owner made a joke which made me feel very uncomfortable, it was unprofessional. She was also very rough with the shampoo and conditioner process as well. This is not a pampering kind of salon. I really wanted to like this salon but I won't be going back.

My experience at Teddy Rose salon was a nightmare. The stylist seemed more interested in gossip than cutting hair. My once luscious locks now resemble a stray cat's fur. Uneven layers, jagged edges, and radioactive streaks from the color job adorn my head. The ambiance felt straight out of the 80s. Avoid this salon at all costs if you value your sanity and your hair.

Roza has been incredible from the first time I came in, almost 3 years ago. She listens well and asks questions to understand what I'm trying for and she has always made it happen, for both cut and color. She is also skilled and comfortable cutting extensions/clip in toppers to work with your cut, which is something I haven't been able to find everywhere. I've loved my experiences at Teddy Rose.

WORST Keratin tip extensions. Pictures pretty much explain all I have to say. I went in and took the pictures the same day I got them done. My hair is RIPPING off at the scalp. Many strands are glued together into one. WARNING, I do not recommend anyone go here for extensions. I had nothing bad to say about the owner until I explained my concern about them. She was very rude and not helpful whatsoever, was not willing to even fix them. Not giving me a refund, okay whatever, but cannot fix what she did? Insanity. She wanted to charge me to have them removed which is absurd seeing how it turned out. I did not notice until I had left the salon. OUCH!!!! They are inexperienced and Roza specifically is unprofessional. I cannot make this up, look at photos. Edited: She commented and said to reach out for an appropriate solution. I added the photo where I reached back out, and she did not respond to me.
