I made a reservation for a car. Cuatomer service made the reservation and after I took an uber over there they had NO cars. Completely irresponsible and incompetent people. Stay away!!

The worst company, terrible service, and incompetent employees. Yesterday in the evening Ive made a reservation for the car on the website. (Lewis University Airport, R4M, 1 Hanger Rd, ROMEOVILLE, IL 60446 US). The website said 15 cars were available. Ive chosen one, paid, and checked in. Today in the morning we got a message no one car was available, and I need to call to cancel and get a refund. Seriously!!!!! Why do I need to call??? Why the cancelation cannot be automatic. Moreover, that service holds a $250 security deposit plus rental price, and all this amount will be refunded in 10 business days. Really???? I'm guessing nobody supports the website. WHY????? You charge not really cheap for the rent, you don't have money for the web support master???? for example, TURO service has the cars for $30/a day this Budget has the cheapest car for $100/a day. IT IS NOT A ''budget'' RIGHT?! The phone assistant is totally incompetent with any of that service questions. She asked me to provide a phone number to check the confirmation and couldnt find it. But the problem is Ive never provided my phone number during making a reservation, just because it wasn't required. She said Ill get a refund in 3-5 days, but the policy says 10 days. And no one guarantees if will refund anything. If not I should send a letter to the provided email . I cant believe it. 21 century and some businesses are still alive with that reputation. I hope one day they will close. IM HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE. NEVER. JUST, PAY FOR THE TAXI, even if it is more expensive than the rent, BUT NEVER USE THIS TERRIBLE budget. Its absolutely not a budget.

First car they tried to give me smelled like an ash tray, second car was dirty inside and out. Office was dirty as well with trash overflowing from the trash can. Do not recommend.
