        I have been coming to this nail place for the last 5 years. I live in Algonquin but go past several nail salons to come to Schaumburg. I started out with Cindy who served with a smile and always gave advice then, she left and I started having Linda do my manicures and pedicures she does a great job to the extent that I made an appointment so she could do the same for my 81 year old mother whom I convinced to come out in the cold weather. Unfortunately we were late so they gave us different ladies to do the manicures and pedicures. Vivian who serviced me was gracious but Natalie who took care of my elderly mother didnt want to cut her toenails she clearly expressed an aversion to touching her. When she was asked to do the manicure she hesitated and I had to ask to end our service before completion and find a different nail salon. Am leaving with great disappointment.

      Irene, we love that you’ve been a long time client and very sorry you felt our service was less than your expectations. Unfortunately, we cannot cut cuticles or nails on the elderly. We can file the nails some but not cut, because of the skin that attaches beneath the nail free edge. The risk of bleeding is very likely and unfortunately, it’s a liability issue. Natalie is a very empathic and caring nail technician. She was just doing her job. Would recommend taking her to a podiatrist for her nail cutting. We wish you and your mom well! Should you decide to return, we welcome you in the future.
