I just wanted to let you and the team know how pleased I am with my book that was delivered yesterday. Also wanted to thank you once again for making the necessary adjustments and leading me along the way. I simply love it! I have done a few projects similar to this with other publishers but this is the first time the final deliverable exceeded my expectations.
In addition, I wanted to thank the shipping teamthey took great care in the packaging in particular in that it coming from overseas.

Mixam printed my title text to my booklet in black on a black background (supposed to be yellow on black) and instead of noticing the issue and contacting me they printed it. when I showed them what I can see on the digital proof, that clearly shows me yellow on black, they told me they don't see that and that I will have to fix the file and place another order. they refuse to acknowledge that someone should have caught this, and honestly, we've printed through my sister company for years like this with no issue, so why is it suddenly an issue now. they are currently refusing to do anything to assist and are ignoring my screen shots of what I saw (yellow on black) and just telling me that's not how it is on the proof. despite that I've sent them what I saw on the proof. unprofessional. both our companies are never using them again. they will give you every excuse about why it's not their fault, despite it being an issue that would have taken 10 seconds to get in contact with me about.

Hello Asha, We are sorry that your text did not print as you expected it to. We can see that you are in contact with our Care team and they have explained why this has happened, and that is due to the overprint setting in your files, which if turned off does show the yellow text, which is what you can see in your files, but as your files were supplied and uploaded with the overprint turned on, it does not show the text, we have to print from the on line displayed and confirmed order, and we do not check the content of your files, so as the text is not showing in the order, it will not print. Our Care team will continue to work with you and have offered a gesture of goodwill discount, to allow you to reorder with the files corrected, so that you can see everything that you want to be printed.

Dropped the ball and did not send out a large lot of booklets we ordered. We were left with nothing and they didn't even bother to update us despite calling a few times. Don't rely on them unless you have a backup and plenty of time (at least 4 weeks)
