        This hotel didn't have key cards. Instead, it had a PIN code that you entered into the keypad on the room door. The PIN was given to me in a used key card sleeve, so it isn't changed when guests leave or come back. As a professional in the access control industry, this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I could go back to the hotel right now and unlock that door. Judging by the pattern, the key codes are easily guessable as well, which raises even more red flags. If I wanted to be malicious, I believe I could've figured out the PIN for any room in less than five minutes. This is absolute insanity and I am leaving reviews outlining this problem so people DO NOT stay here until it is fixed. Safety: Recycled PIN numbers to get into the rooms, DO NOT STAY HERE AS IT IS NOT SAFE.

        NOT SAFE. AVOID. Motel uses numeric keypads instead of keycards, but they never change the code between guests. They admitted in writing they know this is a security issue. Anybody who has ever stayed in your room can come back in while you're checked in and steal all your things -- or worse. DO NOT STAY HERE. Choice Hotels needs to pull their branding off this place. Safety: In addition to the numeric code issue, the smoke detector had been removed from my room, and the elevator certificate has expired. Do not risk the safety of you or your family by staying here.

        Pool was out of order, breakfast was disappointing (just waffles and some toast/bagels) room was rather disappointing as well (caulk visible in the ceiling, strange stains, cracks in the sink, poor water pressure). We asked for extra blankets multiple times, and they kept just bringing us sheets even after we communicated that we dont need sheets. Ended up just giving up and having a cold night. Elevator inspection certificate was also expired. It wasnt an awful stay or experience and had a good location but definitely not worth the price.

        We have stayed here several time and was pleased with our stay. This time it was bety dirty and smelled bad! Gonna find somewhere else to stay next time.
