We bought a car from St Charles Motorsports about a year ago. At the time this was the Naperville, IL location. Really excited about the car for my son. The dealer supplier Auto check history report said that our 2000 Mustang we bought was not in an accident and had no major issues reported. We relied upon this report and so did the dealer. We were not interested in any restructured titles are a car that's been in Seriou accident. In fact, it rated the car over its in-house rating system. The car ran great. Paint job was pristine for a car the over 23 years old. My son drove it for 6-7 months and really enjoyed it. My son now needs to sell the car since his college is 50 minutes each way and can't afford the gas going back/forth. Went to a different dealer and tried to trade the car in. The dealer did a Carfax check and come to find out the car was in pretty decent accident in 2000 with a damaged frame, front end and back end. That explains the pristine paint job. Contacted the dealer since we are now stuck with a car that a dealership will give you a fraction of the value for and most don't want the car with the accident on its record. We can't morally sell the car either without disclosing the accident. Were stuck and now St Charles Motorsports is giving us the run around. Really wish they would do the right thing and take the car back and refund our money. We are really unhappy with their lack of response. Unfortunately, it may end up being a legal matter.
