Rockford Art Museum

Great place for a weekend with kids, reasonable price per person and tons of hands on, fun activities. Our fave was the smoked bubbles, and the inside the bubble activity.

A smaller but completely free art gallery. Nice space with some interesting items inside and a friendly staff in the little gift shop at the entry.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Rockford Art Museum. This cultural gem is a true testament to the vibrant arts scene in Rockford. The museum's exhibits are thoughtfully curated, showcasing an impressive range of contemporary and traditional art. It's a place where creativity knows no bounds! The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to share insights and answer questions. The museum's commitment to engaging the community through art is commendable. The educational programs and events here are outstanding, making it a fantastic place for art enthusiasts of all ages. The museum's architecture and layout are stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for the diverse collection. The tranquil ambiance makes it an ideal spot for quiet contemplation and inspiration. I found myself lost in the world of art during my visit. Whether you're an art aficionado or simply looking for a place to appreciate creativity, the Rockford Art Museum is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a cultural treasure right here in Rockford!

I love this free museum! I think the curator does a FAB job bringing new, fresh, and frequently changing exhibits to this wonderful facility!!!
