Do not, is repeat do not go to her. They are supposed to call you the day before your appointment, but they don't then they will charge you $225 for a missed appointment. I work a very chaotic schedule and it's hard to remember appointments. All my other doctors provide a call or text the day before and some even add the day of just in case you forget overnight. Also, I have seen her for close to a year and she has an accumulation of garbage under her desk. It is quiet disgusting. She forgets what medication dosage she has given you and also what instrustions for that medication she has given to you, it happened to me. One last thing, her receptionist is quiet unpleasant. If you got here good luck, maybe she'll work for you, but I am switching to Dr. White.

As other reviews have stated, Dr. Jafry is forgetful. I found myself reminding her things about my health and medications multiple times in one session. Things that I have made clear in previous sessions/ should be in my profile. I personally had a very difficult time making myself feel understood and had to repeat to her multiple times that I was NOT depressed but going through other things instead. I struggled to find a medication that was right for me, and she just kept prescribing random things with no explanation or thought. Aside from the experience with the doctor, her staff is unprofessional and never have their masks on (they do have a sliding glass door BUT its always wide open and patients must walk past them in order to get to the drs offices) Deb, the medical receptionist, hung up on me once after raising her voice at me and telling me I didnt understand what she was trying to say. I also asked Deb to call me back to confirm something and she told me she couldnt do that because they dont have the time or manpower to do so. Finding an office with a great doctor and staff who are organizing, welcoming, caring and professional are crucial when handling your menta health. Which unfortunately are things you wont find here.

Dr Jafry is generally disorganized and forgetful. Her office is dirty and messy and she generally appears dishevled. She tends to mis medicate take this until manic and then stop..and constantly changes meds, again, for simple issues like general anxiety/depression. She asks you to bring your paperwork prefilled to sign as she doesn't have time to read them or document them. Wants to see you frequently (every 4 weeks) for prescription refill for simple issues like general anxiety/depression. Also, VERY out of date on current standards of safety for medications taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. DO NOT trust what she says is safe.

I went here as a freshman in high school. I was misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when I was actually suffering from Bipolar One disorder. I was treated with two medications that obviously didn't work, but my meds were merely upped and upped in hopes it would actually work, which led to me attempting suicide when nothing got better. On top of it all, I am a transgender man, and I was misgendered the entire time I came to this office. If you or your child is potentially going to go here, and is LGBTQ+, please go elsewhere. This is not a good doctor for transgender and/or LGBTQ+ people.

Dr. Jafry has been my psychirist for more than four years, she is a wonderful doctor.!
