Zak is like the carnie guy at the circus, saying anything to get your business. He will tell you he is using, and charge you for top quality paint but then use cheap "builder" grade paint that gets marked up easily and doesn't clean well. He also used two different grades of paint in the bedrooms so now there are spots on the walls where it is slightly two toned. It's super noticeable in the morning and evenings when the rooms aren't flooded with sunlight. Zak said the doors would be removed and painted offsite, they weren't and it shows. He said the trim and door paint would be gloss but it's not. It's been a month or so since they finished and I'm still cleaning up paint from my brand new floors, off my fixtures and even a purse that was hanging on the back of a door. I'm talking an insane amount of paint. They don't cover their feet and they spilled paint in one bedroom so the carpet in the bedrooms and the stairs had to be steam cleaned. Thank goodness it was water based paint. There are still drip marks being found that require sanding and touch up paint. They didn't fill the nail holes from where pictures were hung so those are being filled, sanded and touched up with paint. His first crew was so god-awful bad that I cried over the work they did. One of the guys would throw hissy fits after talking to the owner, banging ladders and yelling. I was uncomfortable in my own home. Luckily, Zak had a female team come in who fixed the things that were done wrong-too many to list. If it wasn't for the new team I surely would have stopped all work and sued this company. I expect to spend $500-$1,000  or more fixing his remaining mistakes. Oh, and I was told by one of the employees that HE DIDN'T PAY ANY OF THE THREE FOR THE WORK DONE AT MY HOUSE.  I believe it is true as he kept moaning he was broke and headed to bankruptcy. He also went on about how his bank, Sherwin Williams, etc., screwed him over...all money related (very professional, right?). Who doesn't pay their workers? These people were relying on their checks to pay bills and in one case repair a car. Karma is coming full force for this guy one day, but in the meantime, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY/COMPANY. Oh and I'm doubtful of any good reviews anywhere on the web, because he literally offered me a gift certificate for a good review. That in itself is shady! I have more pics but I'll end here with this final note. I waited quite some time before posting this review because I wanted my anger to subside so my review would be fact based and not governed by my emotions.

Zees Painting exceeded our expectations on our front door and window shutters. He is very professional and paid close attention to detail. We are looking forward to using him for future painting projects. Service: Exterior painting

We hired Zee's Painting to paint our home theater room in Wisconsin Badgers colors. I wanted red and white, however, Zakkary suggested I add black to the room to break up the red and white. Then he suggested painting the ceiling red. I was a little skeptical but oh WOW, it looks AWESOME!! He not only does an excellent job painting, but he also offers suggestions that I wouldn't have even considered. I've already hired him to do more work in November. I will recommend him to anyone that needs a painter in this area!
