        The experience I had at the Machesney Park, IL SHOPKO OPTICAL was very satisfying. They would have received more stars if possible. Making an appointment and initial testing with Stephanie was very easy. This staff is experienced, caring and attentive. Dr. Alicja Fitzgerald, O.D. spent alot of time getting to know me and my concerns. She made very good recommendations now and for my future eye health. She is a very pleasant and knowledgeable person. My new glasses were actually ready in about 2 days thanks to their lab also! They have a good selection, options, fit women, men, children and sunglasses. They do take insurance and run specials. I highly recommend this practice! I will be getting my next pair there also.
