I only use this grocery store on the rare occasion when Aldi doesn't have something I need. The building is dumpy and in general dirty. The produce department is dismal. So many items that are old and near rotten or bad. Schnucks also has a store at the CherryVale mall location.... completely different experience! It's actually nice. Produce department alone is night and day. It's sad that companies like Schnucks think that simply because a store is in a poor neighborhood, that they don't need to provide the same GOOD experience, FRESH produce, and CLEAN facility, that they do in wealthier neighborhoods. Go elsewhere if you can.

Are you kidding me? I was in there yesterday, and the security guard was sitting in a chair and was on his phone the whole time I was in there. Even the really old security guard at least manages to stand and look like he actually gives a hoot.
The cashier never greeted me at all, except to raise her voice and ask if I had 'rewards', and when she handed me my reciept, she grunted something unintelligable. I have dealt with the same cashier before, and it's always the same. I know many of the people who work there by name , and I try to be nice, and friendly with folks but now I think I will go to ANY other store from now on.
The caliber of employees at Snooks has really gone down in the last year.
