House of Grace Learning Center and Day Care

My name is Isaiah Warner, and I basically grew up in this daycare. Mrs. Brown is so nice and wonderful I would definitely recommend going here.

House of Grace is a great daycare, my daughter loves it she has so many friends and Mrs. Brown is such a sweetheart. She took my kids in when I needed when i had no one else, she is very understanding and she really looks out for you as long as you are doing what you should be doing, don't ever take advantage of someone with a helping hand because you might not find it nowhere else. People might see the reviews and believe it but Id say come see for yourself, and dont believe what everyone else says.

I'm a first time mother. Also new to the rockford area and trying to get on my feet. I was referred to this daycare by a friend whom children already attended the center. During the process of trying to get my children into the center, Mrs. Brown spoke to me about the forms and steps to take as if I had enrolled children into daycare before. She never asked me if i had any questions or needed anything to be explained to me. She's ALWAYS on her cell phone, so you have to talk to her while she's having a second conversation, which i find to be very unprofessional. I understand COVID has probably changed how things are normally done but Mrs. Brown nor anyone else ever offered to show me what the facility my children would be spending their day in looked like. What the play area they would play in looked like. I personally feel like my w2 month old sat in his car seat majority of the day. I asked to be given a document every day of what times and oz. my 2 month old ate...never received it once, out of 9 days. My two month old would come back home with bottles in his baby bag that would be filled with 6/7 oz of formula. What 2 month old is drinking 6/7 oz bottles. The formula would then be wasted as i wouldn't know how long it had been in the bottle and I'm pretty sure they also cut a hole in one of the bottle nipples. No one ever told me how my babies did for the day unless they were crying and then "they ready to go" would be the statements i would receive. After about 9 days of my babies going to the center, one day when my husband went to drop them off he was meet at the door by Mrs.Brown advising that my children could no longer attend as we had been denied for daycare assistance. No options or offers for us to pay so the kids could still attend. Nothing , just a you were denied. The place always felt like a bad place but i needed help. There are many other things i could complain about but i wont. im blessed that my children are currently okay but i wont be taking them back here.
