Budget Car Rental

This review is only directed to Budget Car Rental Roadside Service. The rental office agents at Rockford Airport did a fine job. However, two days after renting a Jeep Compass through Budget Car Rental at the Rockford Airport in Rockford Illinois I lost the keys to my vehicle. I called Budget Car Rental roadside service four times trying to get a tow truck sent out to tow my rental vehicle back to the airport. Each time I called I was assured my request was being processed and someone would get in contact with me. They never even asked my location. After 3 hours and no response or callback, I then called AAA. AAA took care of my situation and immediately dispatched a tow truck from Miller Towing in Rockford. Thank God I did because when Budget Car Rental Roadside Service finally did respond 4 hours later they were not only egregiously late, they wrongfully told the towing company they thought the vehicle was supposed to be towed to Chicago, some 90 miles away. Thank God for AAA. And thank God for Miller Towing for getting the job done right and towing it back to Rockford Airport.

I rented a car from this location and had a perfect experience. Nice car, great help over the phone and easy after hour pick up since my flight got delayed till midnight. I have no issues using them again every few months for my repeat trip. Dropping off was easy also. Parked in return lot and went to customer service who gave me a receipt with a smile and I was on my way. Highly recommend Budget at Rockford IL. airport.

Stay as far away as you can. They lie about previous damage, overcharge and then text you and threaten to have you arrested for a car you already returned. They're owned by Avis so they are not much better..Have a safe trip and best wishes for a healthy and safe day.

Run made reservations online for $165 they took $200 extra dollars off my card without explaining the reason.. The agent was nonchalant (rude) no customer service skills. And took 3-5 buisness days to replace (bill money) they treat their customers like garbage Never again
