Cedarhurst of Rockford

my Aunt lived here when it was Crimson Ridge. She loved it, we loved it! I put my mother in Cedarhurst, mistakenly thinking it had stayed the same. BOY WAS I WRONG. The food is the quality of a cheap diner. Never get fresh vegetables! Balanced meals! Most meals are casserole like. If they ever do get a piece of meat it is so tough they can hardly chew it. They have a daily menu, but a couple of times a week they change it..." they ran out of what was going to be served" This definitely what she sign up for.

Welcoming staff and beautiful facility. Only concern is that the front door isnt locking so not a fit if your loved one wanders.

I love this place the people are wonderful they are very friendly and helpful the food is really good they have great activities for the people and trips outside of the building highly recommend.

Really bad all around. Incredibly bad staff. Really bad management. Discriminatory. They used to be called Crimson Pointe and I had one person once express to me that name sounded like a horror movie title. Lets just say horror movie is an apt description of this 1-star hotel equivalent. Dont ever consider them when looking for assisted living. A red roof inn would be better and honestly, cheaper.
