Ended up flaking out after 2 weeks of communication. He sent an estimate fairly quickly to which I accepted. A November date was settled on multiple times. I asked him to come view the property beforehand to make sure the digging estimate was accurate, but he was firm on stating that it was not needed and a crew would come when digging was about to start. I accepted that still and then he called back to tell me to find someone else because he was unappreciative of me wanting him to view the property before work started. After I kept asking for reasons as to why he would abruptly cancel everything he said would try to leave me on the schedule. I eventually hung up the phone after telling him if he doesn't want to do it then don't worry about it. Not sure what I said that was wrong but I was hoping for his work! Sad to see him flake out. I just wanted an accurate price due to the bank requesting it. I don't see an issue with wanting eyes on the land before work starts, especially if he's wanting a 30k+ check.

Darren did all the concrete for our new home including a storm shelter in the basement. Spectacular work! His attention to detail and craftsmanship are incredible. We highly recommend him and will use him again for our future projects.
