    Tee Time destroyed many plants, shrubs and trees on my property by using a new fertilizer formula back in April. They told me they would pay for damages and I received a letter outlining our agreed amount. Todate, and after many calls on my part, no check. I'm out of pocket a lot of money and not looking forward to looking at my dead landscaping another spring and summer. What a terrible way to do business and awful for your once loyal customer.

    After several years of quality service, I contacted Tee Time last May to cancel due to budgetary concerns and an uncommunicated spike in pricing. I informed them that I would contact them if I wanted to restart their services. To my surprise, a tech showed up today to perform services. I contacted customer service and was told that services automatically renew each calendar year. Clearly, they are incapable of properly documenting communication. I was also told I would still have to pay for today's visit. Informed CSR that I stopped the tech before starting service, and no payment would be forthcoming because no services were provided. If I had not been home, I would have been forced to pay for a service I did not order or authorize. What a scummy tactic to use to basically scam customers. Due to this interaction, there is now ZERO chance they will receive any possible future business from me.

    Service quality largely depends on the individual technicians who come out to your property. I've been a customer for many years, and have seen good ones, as well as some who seem to care less. I always request a call the day before they come out, so I can keep pets/kids indoors, and I ask for the tech to ring the doorbell upon arrival, so I can point out any weedy areas of concern, etc. Most do ring before starting their application, but not all. There is a note on our account about our property line extending 5 ft. past a small retaining wall, but many of the guys must not read the notes and don't treat the area unless I show them. (It would be best if we always had the same technician throughout an entire season who was familiar with the property, but that hasn't been the case.) A few years ago the technicians started using ride-on fertilizer spreader equipment which makes their job quicker, but that makes it harder for them to see weeds as they're driving. The machines have also caused tire ruts in our lawn when the ground is wet. Our property has a few sloped areas and there have been several times when the guys made quick turns and dumped excess fertilizer in places, which then "burns" the grass in those sections (arcs around 8" wide and 2 ft. long.) I contacted the company about these issues, and Tee Time's Operations Manager, Mike, recently came out to see the problems for himself. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He reseeded the damaged areas, and said he's put additional notes in our account to address the areas of concern so there aren't future problems. He mentioned that the company has retained all of the technicians they had last year, so hopefully their combination of experience along with some additional training/reminders will result in consistently better service.

Brian - I'm disappointed to see this review, particularly after our phone call and getting on the same page. As a long time customer, your account did autorenew this year as it has every year for the past 8 years. We did honor your request to put your account on hold last year as instructed. Holds are temporary suspensions of services, unlike a cancel which is permanently closing the account and which was not requested. I'm glad we had a good conversation and reached an agreement on going forward, but have to say was caught flat footed reading this review. Best, Addy
