Ike Hatchett Floor Finishing

The tradition continues... Ike's daughter Amanda & son-in-law, Dan, have met & exceeded the expectations created & fulfilled by Ike. Really and truly a solid & first-rate family business that doesn't rush quality. We had 100-year-old floors that were added to with new planks that were custom-milled in the "period" in width/size & we had some floor that was restored. The first vendor didn't hit the mark, so we called in Dan. First of all, he was extremely educational, quite affable & pleasant to deal with (read: super informative but copacetic). He explained everything, did a color match, nailed it (by the way), and responded to every concern a snake-bitten homeowner would have, with ease. A joy to work and someone you'd wanna call a friend. The quality of the work, the finished floor's look & feel and the attention to detail were second to none. They cleaned up after themselves meticulously and really took the extra time (doubly so) to make sure each detail was attended to in the proper manner. I am picky and hard to satisfy, but Dan (and Amanda) outclassed our every expectation and gave us the floor we originally envisioned. A job exquisitely done. Kudos to you both, and thank you for restoring our trust in home-renovation contractors. I supremely recommend them. You will pleased and super ecstatic with the result. The price was also fair and more than worth it.

What a great guy with awesome work ethic. His professionalism and attention to detail was everything I could hope for. He and his son in law stripped and refinished our old hardwood dining room floor which included matching/replacing some damaged wood and patching a hole. The patched flooring is an exact match and after 2 years, the floor still looks amazing. I highly recommend using him for any flooring you need done and I will be using his services again on some bedrooms in the future. Service: Repair flooring
