I did all of the things required for a MHP position. Passed all background checks, got a tour of the facilit etc. Made me think I had the job, got a call today, late afternoon saying he wasn't going to offer me the position. I asked why, he would not tell me. Unprofessional as the administrator at the jail should not have a say in who is hired. Wasted a good month of my time.

If I could give a zero, I would. After over 5 years with a jail, I received a raise and excellent review from my direct supervisor. 4 days later, Stephanie Powell calls me at 7:30pm on 1/31 to inform me that they are firing PRN LPNs. I asked if I could increase my hours. I was told I would have to apply for a position and unfortunately ACH doesnt hire LPNs anymore. Furthermore, Stephanie told me I would receive a letter of separation which I havent received after 5 weeks since termination. Extremely unprofessional company. Does not care about quality of patient care (or they wouldnt fire excellent nurses based on licensure discrimination), nor do they care about their employees.

This company fired me today based on 100% lies from two onsite LPN's. No discussion, no meeting for me to respond, just suddenly fired me without warning. Ive never even met my manager (that fired me), they are completely out of touch with reality about the site I worked at. I would not recommend working for this company. Also, they have no EMR, everything (including MAR) is ON PAPER. Training is subpar. Health insurance is overpriced. Do not work here.
