        My mother lives in Pekin Estates.... Very few times that I talk to her does she have anything good to say about the food. Tonight she said that the green beans were ice cold. She won't get mashed potatoes because they are always cold. Seems to me that food service all foods should have a thermometer to monitor the temperature. The residents pay for good food, they should get it.

        My parents live here and since Covid the place has struggled to provide adequate meals. The food served is not elderly friendly. So many services lost due to COVID-19 but no price decrease. Lots of people chose to leave because of these issues. Until these issues are addressed I would not recommend for any age.
