Marlee Hasson shouldn’t even have a license to practice in the field of mental health. DO NOT trust this person with your adoption issues. She disregarded my personal and legal rights as an adoptee of a closed adoption, and violated my privacy in every manor possible within a month of my first semester away from home at college, just 3 months after I turned 18, and less than one month after 9/11 when I had just moved to Washington DC. Basically as soon as I was 18, and away from home, I was fair game to her and my Birth Mother. There was no concern for what was best for ME. All they cared about was achieving what they wanted. Even when I explained that I have medical issues affected by stress, and said that if I wanted to make contact I clearly had all the info to, she still continued to violate my privacy, making calls to my private dorm phone, finding my private email, and my dorm address. She was relentless, like a starved dog. She has absolutely NO REGARD for others. Go through the proper agencies and do not trust her to do your bidding, she will only make things worse.
