Dr. Bank is in a league of her own. She is brilliant, kind, and knowledgeable, and I recommend her to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.

I have been going to Dr. Bank for many years. She is absolutely one of the best doctors Ive ever seen. Certainly the best psychiatrist. She is very up to date on psychiatric issues as well as nutrition. Whenever I am with her or have a phone appointment she makes me smile even on my worst days. I am forever grateful for the support, compassion and the patience she has with me. not always an easy task.

Dr. Bank has been my doctor for more than 8 years and Dr. Bank has helped me a lot because she is absolutely brilliant, smart, and compassionate doctor. I went to so many different doctors to figure out what was wrong with me but none of those other doctors figured out the cause. But Dr. Bank was the only Doctor who knew what was wrong with me & had the solution to help me get better & stay on that better track.

Susan and I have been in the trenches together with my mental health over the past ten years. Through her medical wizardry, she has brought me back from the brink of suicide and insanity on multiple occasions. I'm a graduate of Northwestern University and was distraught over my outcomes with other psychiatrists. I felt like I didnt suffer through that school to be on disability. Susan is a breath of fresh air. While she isnt in-network with any insurance company, her prices are reasonable (she's worth every penny), and she will work with your insurance on things like getting your prescriptions covered, provide you with documentation if you have out-of-network coverage, and fill out any sort of job-related paperwork that may be needed. I think it's saying something that she keeps her patient population functioning so well that they can continue to see her, even in the rough times. Unlike so many other psychiatrists, to the best of my knowledge Susan doesn't have patients in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or regularly in an inpatient setting. We're all contributing members of society and she keeps us that way. As psych patients, I believe that's the most we can ask for: to be indistinguishable from people without mental illness. Susan ensures just that. If there's one thing you should spend a little extra on, it's your health. Take my word for it. Make your mental health a priority with Susan Bank. You'll be happy you did!
