My name is Eliana Katchkey and Dr. Ruge was my pediatric neurosurgeon over thirty years ago. I would not be walking today and thriving in life it weren't for the exceptional care and attention he gave me and my family. I am FOREVER grateful!

Dr Ruge is a AMAZING surgeon! He and his team deserve more than 5 stars. Dr Ruge has done 2 spine surgeries on my son one when he was 10months old and one at 4 years old, and one brain surgery at 3 years old. My son was diagnosed with ATRT, brain cancer at 3 years old and Dr Ruge removed all of his tumor! My son had 5 rounds of chemotherapy with 3 stem cell transplants and 6 weeks of radiation. Dr Ruge also did a brain biopsy when an enhancement on his scan showed up in Feb 2023. Thankfully it wasnt a tumor. During treatment if I ever thought neurological my son just seemed off Dr Ruge would either do a virtual appointment or have me bring him in. He still does this too. My son will be 6 years old in February and I will never be able to thank Dr Ruge, Elizabeth and Cathy enough for what they have done to help my son and our family.

Whoa. I am blown away. This man is incredibly kind and patient with our family. We were sent to him for an eval based on an MRI my son had. He reviewed it thoroughly and showed us what he believes the radiologist saw and why there was the potential for concern, but provided us with good news! He spent approximately 45 minutes with us and by the end of the visit, as the nurse was gathering our paperwork, he was on the phone with our son's neurologist discussing the case with him. I HIGHLY recommend him!!
