Michelle and her entire team were so easy to work with from the very initial consultation. As a first time home buyer, I was full of stress from hearing stories from friends and family about their experiences during the home buying process. The very thought of buying a home was way more stressful than the experience of it and I have Michelle to thank for that. She was incredibly patient, answered my questions in a way that I could understand and she was able to provide invaluable insight based on her experience that paid off right through closing. At closing she was fully prepared and ready to go, even with the final approval coming in the day before. The closing date was moved up one week per the sellers request. I want to express my thanks to Michelle and her staff at Cross Country Mortgage. She worked with me to secure a mortgage on an investment property in Chicago. She walked me through the different mortgage products and explained why a 30 fixed was the best option for me, she also locked me in just before a rate hike saving me a lot of money. She and her staff were always available to answer my questions and made sure I had all the appropriate documentation needed for underwriting to quickly approve the loan.
