James is and always has been someone weve felt genuinely at home with. His support and guidance over the last several years has had a significant part in my personal growth and recovery. He has not only helped my husband and I through unfortunate crisis and heartache but has provided individual assistance to our eldest daughter and some of our closest friends. Jim is amazing! He found me in a dark and scary place and, patiently, helped me out with empathy and humor. Jim helped me find the courage and tools I needed to recover from an impending alcoholic death and realize the under lying issues. Working with Jim was a positive, freeing experience. Results amazing. Im forever thankful that he was put in my path.

I don't think I've ever met a more understanding counselor. Jim tells it like it is, and doesn't take sides. He tells you what you need to hear, good or bad and he does it with compassion. If you've found it difficult to connect with other therapists in the past, I highly recommend giving Jim a shot.
