Macey is one of the best hairstylist around! I always leave feeling confident and happy with her work. Shes absolutely fun to be around and lights up the room not only with her personality but with the amazing work she does! Dont walk RUN to Maceys on Madison! 10/10 recommend.

Macey is such a professional, and the sweetest girl. I moved closer to the city and still drive an hour and a half one way so she can keep doing my hair, that is how much i love her work! I have never had a bad cut or color from her. She always does exactly what I ask for, and has taken me from the platinum blonde of my dreams, to copper, and back to a lived in blonde. I have NEVER left her chair disappointed, cant say enough good things about her and her work. Your hair cant be in better more capable hands, 100% recommend seeing her!

I am not someone who would ever, ever, ever put a bad review on anything, but unfortunately I feel like I need too for this. I had a hair appt set up through Instagram with Macey. We scheduled it and I sent many photos of what I had wanting, not all photos were the same but they all have heavy blonde highlighting and copper/red colors. Fast forward to my appt we went over to what I had wanted and in the chair I told her I wanted something bold and different than what I had already had and lighter like the photos I had sent. She shows me two different blondes and I picked the lighter one as to what I had wanted with the copper color. I know already that it can take many times to bleach your hair before you can get the color you want, but that was not the issue. She did a partial on my hair which we had discussed because her price is 190$ and I needed to keep it under $200. She completes my hair and I told her at the end that I wanted it more bolder, but I thought to myself that I cant just say I hate it after she is hyping me up and telling me how amazing I look after her work is done. So, I go home to kind of play with it and the very next day I send her a message saying that I do not like it. Its not like I waited a week or 2. I paid $190 plus a $20 tip within 2hrs, she made well at about $100 an hour. In the messages, I told her I wanted more blonde to it and she messages me saying that its going to cost more money and that she is willing to tone down my huge pieces of blondish orange in the front of my hair that has hot roots (meaning my root is darker then the ends and its not even) I told her I didnt want to tone it down and wanted more highlights like my other photos. She is completely unwilling to do it even though I am so upset with it. I work at the hospital and even all of my friends and co workers in the department couldnt even tell I got my hair done. All I have is 2 huge money pieces in the front that arent even the same color and doesnt match the rest of my head. I agreed to come in and get them toned down because mind you, I did JUST spend 210$ that I do not have, getting it done. I am still very unhappy with my hair. The day my appt is set for 3:00, my job unfortunately needed me to stay overtime very last minute and for all of you that work in healthcare you know how crazy it can be, so I sent a message stating hey I cant be in and for the reason and then she messages me back saying basically that she is not doing it and based on last week it would be best for me to see another hairstylist.. so now she is not even willing to fix her mistake of even hot roots. I would consider seeing another stylist at all costs, maybe her major thing and what she does best is makeup however I would absolutely not go get your hair done by her. Her prices are high and at the end of the day she is not considerate. I dont understand how a hairstylist could be so okay with their client being unhappy with their hair all I asked for was more blonde highlighting since they are so thin on the crown of my head (cant even tell a difference from before) and even though I spent 210$ she isnt willing to throw a few more thicker highlights on the crown or my head. Im not even asking for a full highlighting. I added the whole conversation in here for anyone to read.
