UChicago Medicine Orland Park

I had bad experiences for far too long with far too many doctors at the UChicago Medicine for the 5 years I was a patient. My opinion is that they are dismissive, arrogant, and incompetent. When I realized that I would have been better off lighting my money on fire than trying to get medical help here, I fired this place and I hired a new doctor, who promptly ordered tests and helped me with several long-standing but undiagnosed medical problems. If you want a diagnosis or treatment for any medical conditions, my opinion is that you should go anywhere else besides UChicago Medicine. Buyer beware.

I made an appointment a month or so back. I showed up at 7:30am to my appointment at 7:45am only to be told that my appointment was cancelled without my knowledge. The receptionist said there was a not that I had a referral outside of network. I was not even asked if I wanted to reschedule. When I called back later to see what happened I was told that I canceled my appointment. Im not sure why I would take a half day from work, get a 5 year old up at 6am, and drive to an appointment I cancelled. Ill just find a more competent provider to fix my painful issue instead of making another appointment 3 months out!

I have been having a hard time getting copy of my test results..they never sent it over to the Dr. That sent me there, it has been since April and still No report and all I get is the answer Machine.
